For over six decades, LCT has been a cornerstone of the arts in the La Crosse region, providing accessible and professional quality productions, education programs,and opportunities for creativity. With our recent acquisition of a new building and the development of additional educational and performance spaces, LCT is poised to reach even greater heights. However, sustaining this growth requires not just immediate support but also a long-term vision.
As LCT looks into the future, the LCT Endowment Fund serves as a financial foundation to guarantee that future generations will have access to the joy, inspiration, and community connection that only live theatre can provide. By contributing to the fund, supporters can help us secure resources to maintain our facilities, produce compelling shows, and offer educational programs that foster creativity in young and old alike.

Who oversees the Endowment?
La Crosse Area Community Foundation (LACF) oversees the LCT Endowment Fund. LACF is a charitable organization created through gifts from individuals who are about enhancing the greater La Crosse area. When donors give to the LCT Endowment Fund administered by LACF, our organization benefits from the pooled investments of the community foundation which allows the community theatre to benefit in perpetuity. Gifts made to the LCT Endowment Fund will continue to grow and provide resources for the community theatre forever. This is why LACF says they are “Investing in communities. For Good. Forever.”
A key benefit of LCT partnering with LACF is to benefit from the community foundation model. Our collaboration allows us to stay fiscally responsible in addressing timely fiscal needs while also building assets that will benefit the arts forever. LACF provides staff who have a unique perspective of the community and expertise in impactful charitable giving. They pride themselves on being a leading resource in facilitating the magic of philanthropy in the region. LACF’s vision and mission align with LCT’s values, and we are grateful for the partnership.
